Privacy Policy

LookSolve provides the LookSolve application and related services ("LookSolve," "we," "us" or "our"). This policy explains what we collect when you use LookSolve, why we collect it, and who else is involved. We only describe what LookSolve actually does.

Depending on how you use LookSolve, we collect and store:

• account information — your email address, display name and account ID;
• authentication and session information needed to keep you signed in;
• photos, documents and descriptions you upload;
• AI-generated results and your follow-up questions and conversations;
• History and Saved items, notes and statuses you set;
• subscription identifiers and status (never your full payment card number);
• support communications you send us; and
• basic server, security, diagnostic and error logs.

When you create an account we store your email address and the sign-in details needed to keep you signed in. If you sign in with Google, we receive your email address and basic profile name from that sign-in — not your Google password.

We use the information above to:

• provide and improve the service you request;
• create and maintain your account;
• generate AI results and follow-up answers;
• process and manage memberships;
• provide customer support;
• prevent fraud, abuse and security incidents; and
• diagnose and fix technical problems.

LookSolve does not sell your personal information, and we do not use your uploaded photos or content to advertise to you.

Photos, documents and descriptions you submit are stored in private per-account storage so you can reopen them later. They are not public, and links used to display them inside the app are temporary and account-specific.

To produce a result, your photo and description are sent to AI model providers, currently including Google Gemini through Lovable's AI gateway. They are processed to generate your answer. LookSolve does not sell your content and does not publish it.

Results, follow-up questions, notes, statuses and saved items are stored against your account so they are available on any device you sign in to. You can delete individual items in the app.

LookSolve uses the following providers to operate the service:

• Stripe — payment processing. Stripe collects and processes your payment card directly. LookSolve never receives or stores your full card number — we only store the subscription status and identifiers needed to keep your membership working.
• Resend — delivery of account and support emails. Your email address is shared with them only to deliver those messages.
• Lovable — application hosting, authentication, database and storage infrastructure, and the AI gateway through which analysis requests are routed.
• AI model providers — the photos and descriptions you submit are processed by AI model providers, currently including Google Gemini through Lovable's AI gateway, to generate results.
• Firecrawl — web-retrieval used to look up official manufacturer or safety documentation for error codes and model markings. Only the code or model text needed for the lookup is used — not your photo or your account details.
• UPCitemdb — used to look up product information when you scan a UPC or EAN barcode. Only the barcode number needed for the lookup is sent. LookSolve does not send your photo, account information or location to UPCitemdb for this lookup.
• YouTube Data API — searching for how-to videos using a short description of the task. Only that search text is sent. Watching a video opens YouTube, where YouTube's own privacy policy applies.

"Find nearby stores" opens a normal Google Maps search in your browser using the item name, through an external link rather than a LookSolve location API. LookSolve does not collect or transmit your location, and does not use a paid location service.

Our infrastructure keeps server, security, diagnostic and error logs used to operate, secure and troubleshoot the service. LookSolve currently does not use advertising trackers or third-party advertising analytics.

You can delete individual results and uploads in the app. To delete your account and its data, email support@looksolve.app from your account address and we will remove it. Deleted information may remain temporarily in encrypted or system backups until those backups are overwritten or expire under normal retention procedures.

We retain records needed for security, fraud prevention, billing, tax, legal obligations, backups or dispute resolution only as long as reasonably necessary for those purposes.

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by contacting support@looksolve.app from your account email address. We will respond to requests in accordance with applicable law.

LookSolve may disclose information when reasonably necessary to: comply with applicable law, court orders or lawful legal process; protect users, LookSolve, or others from fraud, abuse, security threats or harm; investigate violations of the Terms; or support a merger, acquisition, financing, restructuring or sale of all or part of the business, subject to applicable privacy requirements. This description does not imply that any such event is currently occurring.

Data is transmitted over encrypted connections and stored with per-account access rules so one account cannot read another's content. Keys and credentials are held on the server only and are never exposed in the app. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your information using reasonable safeguards.

LookSolve is intended for adults only. You must be at least 18 years old to create an account, use LookSolve or start a membership. LookSolve is not directed to, and may not be used by, anyone under 18.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If we learn that someone under 18 has created an account, we may close the account and delete the associated information, subject to records we must keep for security, billing, tax, legal or dispute-resolution purposes.

If this policy changes we will update the date at the top of this page and, for significant changes, let you know in the app or by email.
